This summer, middle and high school students have the opportunity to join a squad!

Get ready to have some fun with GP Squads! This summer, middle + high school students can join a squad led by GP staff and College Interns. Each squad will spend the summer participating in Squad Wars, learning about their faith, and hanging out with friends old and new!
Squad Meet Ups will take place Mondays + Thursday, where each squad will meet their college interns for fun activities and exciting challenges! The weekly winning squad will be announced at every Main Event. Join a squad and get ready for some summer fun with The Gathering Place!

Needing transportation?

We will be able to help work with familys that need transportaion on Mondays from the island to the Teen Center in Brunsiwck. After regristration we will be contacting you by text message to confirm your registration and give you all the information that you are going to need for the summer.

THE DROP OFF LOCATION… will be Gascoigne Park at 8:45am.  We will be departing from there to head to the Teen Center at 9:15a.
Before we depart from the Teen Center to return to the island, you will recieve a text message (you will be receiving this number after you register). The pick up time for your student will be around 1:20p at Gascoigne Park.

We are limited to the amount of students that can be transported. So a confirmation will be needed each week to know who will be riding with us.

Can my student bring a friend?

We love when students are reaching thier friends. If your student has a friend that wants to join us we ask that you forward the registration link to thier parents if they are under the age of 16. We ask that there is consent from the parents if they are over the age of 16.

One reason we register is to know who is coming but also so that way we can make sure there are safe ways to contact parents in the event of an emergency. We value communication and want to make sure that we keep parents up todate on all the things that we are doing this summer.

Who will be leading my students?

Your student will be lead by our GP Staff and 12 amazing College Interns! We have hand selected some amazing people that love pouring into students and leading them to Jesus. 

How will I get updated information each week or ask questions about squads?

You can text and recieve texts with any of your questions from 912-219-0333 at anytime. Save our number- that way when you see it you know it is your friends from The Gathering Place.

How much does this cost?

Because of the generosity of people that support The Gathering Place our Squads are FREE.

What if my student will be out of town on a Monday or Thursday?

We have designed our events and squads to be built around busy schedules. If they miss one, they will be missed but can jump right back in to be a part of what we are doing. Your student’s College Interns will reach out to them and you to let everyone know what was missed and if there is anything they need know.
